Fabric Covered Mouse Pad

My mouse pad got a face lift! Ok, this is totally embarrassing but my mouse pad is like 15 years old and is disgusting! You can barely see, but it did have Miami Hurricanes(my husband's fav team) on it. It started getting nasty a while ago but he wouldn't let me get rid of it, Since then it's gotten worse and worse and honestly, I just stopped noticing it.

Fabric Covered Mouse Pad, Over The Apple Tree

The other day I finally looked at it and decided to do something about it. All you need for this project is new piece of fabric, some spray adhesive, scissors and the old rubber bottom. First thing I did was peel off the old fabric cover. This was pretty easy since it was half off anyway! After removing the old fabric, go outside(it's toxic) and spray a nice thick coat of the adhesive onto the rubber. Place the new fabric on and trim with scissors around the edges. Done.

  18. Looks great. Rather than ragged ones, I have a lot of new ones with lots of ads on the cover. The one thing I haven't yet done, is cover them with fabric. I will try this also, as yours looks really, really rather nice!!! Thank you for the tip and linking it up at SHARE IT sunday linky party. A new party will open again tomorrow and I can't wait to see what you'll bring. ~ Till soon, Rose
